Dear Parents, Grandparents and CHEO Supporters,
My name is Peggy McColl, and I'm a grandparent of my most awesome grandson: James.
About 1 year ago, James enjoyed a very normal fun day in his life. That same evening, his parents rushed him to CHEO after he suddenly suffered from uncontrollable full-body seizures with no apparent cause.
He was at CHEO on life support and in a coma for 3 days - the absolute worst days of all of our lives.
CHEO touches the lives of over 500,000 patients and families each year.

The Goal
Raise funds to buy an EEG Machine for CHEO!
Upgrade & Add New Technology
CHEO will use the funds raised to upgrade its Electroencephalography (EEG) systems, among other equipment, in its CHEO Neurology department.
Respond Even Faster To Emergencies
CHEO will be able to diagnose problems even earlier, to give children the best chance to resolve issues and continue living a happy, healthy life.
The more & better equipment on-hand, the better care CHEO can provide.
Restore & Increase Quality of Life
When a life-threatening incident occurs, and ideally before such an incident, it is important to diagnose and treat our children so they can enjoy the highest quality of life possible.
